I love this recipe. It is high in calories, but is a great sweet option without processed sugar. It only uses healthy ingredients and tastes wonderful. It can be used to make caramel apples as it hardens as it cools. But my favorite way to eat it is by dipping fruit in it while it's warm. I've tried it with bananas, apples, oranges, pineapples.... it's great with all of them. And the best thing? It takes about 5 minutes to make. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
5-Minute Caramel Ingredients
Make it!
This is as easy as it gets! Put all the ingredients together in a small saucepan and whisk it as they melt together over a low heat. Remove and enjoy it warm, or let it cool to room temperature. It will harden in the fridge if you'd like to coat fruit for later. It also reheats nicely if you want to save some for a treat later.
